Why do I need to submit proof of Church/Organization Liability Insurance?

We ask each church/organization to have liability insurance to protect your group. We encourage you to talk to appropriate staff members that handle your church/organization’s insurance to make sure you have adequate insurance for your trip.

What does Border Perspective need from me?

You will fill out an online Proof of Liability Insurance Form to your group folder on Google Drive to confirm that your church/organization has liability insurance through the end of their trip with Border Perspective. This form is due 30 days before your trip.

What if my church/organization’s liability insurance expires before my trip?

Please wait to submit your form until your insurance has been renewed. You have up to 30 days before your trip to submit this form.

What if my church/organization does not have liability insurance?

Call 770-876-4689 and we can talk through the next steps with you.

Is there a certain level of insurance that Border Perspective requires?

Border Perspective does not require specific levels of coverage, however you may want to contact someone at your church/organization or your insurance company to make sure you have adequate insurance for your trip. We recommend that you verify that you have the necessary insurance to transport people who are not in your group.

What does liability insurance cover on my trip?

Because each policy varies, please talk with your insurance provider about any coverage questions.

Is traveler’s insurance the same as liability insurance?

Traveler’s insurance and liability insurance are two different things. While some groups get supplementary coverage under a travel insurance policy, this is not required by Border Perspective.
