WHAT TO EXPECT on a BORDER JOURNEY to south texas

This immersive and intensive journey is an educational experience. You will be intentionally placed into the lives of immigrant leaders serving families on the U.S. and Mexico border. You will hear and learn directly from ministry leaders embedded in South Texas. You will learn more about the issues the local immigrant population faces day to day, the challenges asylum seekers and refugees face as they are passing through, and how local ministries are overcoming the challenges of ministering in this tumultuous region of the country.

Questions that we will discuss throughout the journey!

  • How might the church be mobilized as an instrument of compassion and empathy in this day and age?

  • What does it look like to take Jesus’ love and care to the immigrant and foreigner among us?

  • How is the local church reaching the diverse communities around us from a biblical perspective?
